like west side story with seam rippers and shears

Exams are coming up. I don't have many real final exams just a few tests and a portfolio. After that, it's winter break and that means sewing for days. I'm pretty much spending the entire break locked away in the shop if I can get in there or in my dorm with Vlad if I can't. Hopefully my hand will be 100% by then so I can power through. It's still a bit sore but seems to be healing nicely.

Anyway, here is my list of costumes to make by Katsucon. Let me know if I forgot anything.

okay so this morning i totally had a dream about you. in my dream you had drawn this steampunk spoon that was just amazingly awesome. i was totally jealous. it had gears and stuff like a clock, but it also had a dial around it that you could set for what type of food you were eating. there were five settings and each one had shared components of its neighbor, which made sense in a mechanical sort of way, but the options ranged from hamburger to airplane. it was srsly beautiful. and the whole time i was like DAMN I WISH I HAD THOUGHT OF THIS, but when i woke up i realized that it was MY dream and i DID think of it! but i feel like i should give you credit anyway, so good job. :D

I'm heading up to Otakon, as I do every summer, this year. I'll be volunteering with the con Photographers also, but I'll be out quite a bit on my own as well.
